Cannot access the website or JCharts updates are slow |
If you are facing a problem where you suddenly cannot access our website and this happens randomly OR JCharts(RT) updates are slow or randomly updates stop and then you have to refresh for the updates to begin, then please perform the following three tests and let us know the output (email to support@icharts.in) and we will let you know if the problem is on your end or our end. This output will help us rule out problems on your side and then we can focus on fixing the problem on our end. TEST 1:
1. Click on "Start" button (in windows) and then click on "Run"
2. Type "command" (without the quotes) in the "Open" field and click OK button. This will open the command prompt window.
3. At the prompt type "ping www.icharts.in" (without the quotes) and press ENTER key.
4. Once you get the full output. Send us the last like of the output. It will look like this: Minimum = 318ms, Maximum = 318ms, Average = 318ms
TEST 2:
1. In the same command prompt window as in the previous test, type "tracert www.icharts.in" (without the quotes) and press the ENTER key.
2. This test will take some time to complete. Please let us know if you get too many "Request Timed Out" errors. A complete successful test should look approximately like this:

2. Click on the "Test" button.
3. Send us the output that you see in the message box just below the test button. If you internet connection quality is satisfactory then the test should indicate a download taking less than 1 second.
