@ vinay : why rebel?
@apka : i swear there is some thing fishy with the stock... it was a stellar performer for the past one year or so... now all of a sudden it cracks..terribly..
although not a direct comparison...gitanjali gems was also a great stock long back... now i dont know what future is left.. |

Steve: Among new 'private' banks, Axis and HDFC Bank are the safest. Ktkbank has a good reputation among the old ones. I agree, heresy to talk about fundamentals here but as Apka says something fishy about Yesbank. It is a vipers' nest full of 'Kapurs'. And remember the most able Kapur died a short while back in a plane accident (and his widow is messing around in Yesb when she is not buying prime property like a flat in Samudra Mahal, near Race Course, Bombay! Must have inherited a lot of shares and money from hubby-jee) |

steve you must be in touch with fundamentals. I have already written about yes bank in couple of other threads. Gitanjali got hammered due to involvement of prime securities.
only indusind bank is now good apart from hdfc bank as they are the only two banks which have all seniormost executives who are good bankers. |

Apka: Yeah that's what Vinay meant by good bankers! Good at banking jobs, good at meeting targets, good at converting black into white. (Not commenting on their morals.) Cheers, Prakash Holla
