Absolutely, prakash and steve. Makes no sense if someone butts in once in a while only to distract. There is enough freedom on icharts to start one's own thread and post whatever one wishes.

Yep, agreed. That is the beauty of iCharts, all different topics and TA get individual attention and focus of discussion when kept separate.

@ STEVENMET, I AM EXTREMLY SORRY FOR THE POSTINGS

SIV123 on 27 Jul 2013 21:45 posted Calculation of EMA VALUES.xls

vinay28 on Jul 2013 22:33 next day for 26/7 is 29/7 with a sell @ 5947.85? or is it for next day of 25th? if so, why is it in same row as of 26th?

pkholla on 29 Jul 2013 13:55 Siv123: My head is spinning like a "bambaram". I know Excel but not how you have arrived at such Ramanujam style formulas. I humbly request you to start your own thread and give detailed explanations of your prediction sheet so we can also benefit from your profound knowledge.
Then those of us who only want to follow Steve's basic 3-15 EMA system, without head spinning like a bambaram, can continue to visit this thread

pkholla on 02 Aug 2013 17:47 Siv123: PLEASE STOP POSTING YOUR CONFUSING ITEMS HERE WHICH REQUIRE EINSTEIN BRAIN TO READ/ UNDERSTAND. START YOUR OWN THREAD. ARE YOU THE SAME SIVGATES WHO CREATED HAVOC IN "JUST TRADE'S NIFTY LEVELS THREAD"????
Admin: Please request this member to understand simple advice and STAY AWAY from this thread!!!!
I only want to follow Steve's simple yet powerful EMA crossover thread with simple yet powerful INPUTS FROM STEVE ONLY !!! I am sure that many in IC agree with me. Jai Hind, Prakash Holla

i had added more 5800 PEs at 96 levels considering a weekly cross over expectation (for which it is safe to wait till EOD tmrw)..

anyways... YESBANK profits are also working out well...

cheers
stevenmat

today/tmrw may close above 5800. then?

any close below 5860 is a crossover vinay..

booking 75% 5800 PEs at 201 levels... Thats more than 100% profit !!

The rest 25% is for roulette tables as usual Laughing Laughing

Simple yet powerful. No need for Fib, Xcel, complex numbers or computer simul. Great work, Steve!! Lage raho! Prakash Holla
PS Looks like this R table is missing the 0 and 00 numbers!

steve, on what basis do you decide to book e.g. if you had not sold earlier, you would have made huge profits. Isn't 3/15 crossover a SL for you. Nor are you booking when daily candle opens above 3 ema as per another pdf files uploaded by someone, only to buy again when price touches 3 or 15 ema.

Keep It Simple, Steve-style!
Arey, Vinaybhai, Steve openly posting from beginning that he is partially booking at every opportunity. AND that he is happy with profits made so far. (Who wouldnt be?) Everyone looks at risk- reward ratio as per his / her own calc., and acts accordingly! Cheers, Prakash Holla

prakash, your answer is NOT satisfactory. If steve is booking profit at his will then an important aspect is missing in his strategy and that is to be prudent in booking of profit so that one gets max possible profit.

we can't leave a good strategy to steve's whims and fancies! 24 24

steve, I did post yesterday that booking profit if candle opens above (clear of) 3 ema made sense as suggested by a pdf file posted by someone two weeks ago. You can always enter again once it touches 3 AND 15 ema. Think about it.
