After the last trade back fired...

A close at or below 6162 gives a cross over..
I'll be buying puts then...

btw : @ppl new to this forum.... 6162 level is on EOD closing basis...not right now..

6162 won't change.. atleast for today.. its based on EOD EMA data till yesterday

steve, attaching NF chart as of 11.50am. as you can see 3 has gone below 15 today. what level in NF will you treat for going short near eod?

i am not really sure about NF levels...i check only NS... NF involves more complications associated because of changing premiums

ok steve. I am now attaching NS chart as of 2.10 pm today. How did you get 6162? Looks like 3 can't cross above 15 today as it needs to close well above about 6184.

you meant 3 ema crossing from above right?

6162 close is a very simple ema calculation vinay..
its based on the previous day's ema close..

formula is like this = (X-Y)*fac+Y

X=today's close
Y=Yesterday's close
fac=2/(no.of ema days+1)

its the same formula for both 3 & 15 EMAs

just plug in the values
