Congrats.
I had bot n call y'day, sold off almost immediately knowing your uncanny ability to predict N movement. Got out with a small profit too!
Only one doubt? Nowadays you celebrate by saying cheers with spiced buttermilk?

I am not sure abt bnf... 3 15 is plotted on NS values and trade taken on options...

Hi Steven,

any reason for exiting very quickly from the trades?

I am not say that hold the position for reverse crossover.. maybe holdon with 1/2 or 1/4 th position and milk it. maybe I should say wine it .. ages better than milk Very Happy

Its a good run .. any how as long as you are making MONEEEYYY Very Happy

regards,

Hi taruj,

we actually exit from this crossover trade very quickly within a few days actually... thats the philosophy.. this is partly due to the fact that since the underlying theory behind this being successful is bcoz we buy/sell at an intermediate point rather than the peak/lows.. so the move will extent generally only for a few days and begins to stagnate ... Secondly since we are trading on options..stagnation causes the option prices to go down (which we obviously dont want).. Hence we book profit early and keep some % for extra gambling power.. well if your risk appetite allows you to hold for more time then you may do it..but i dont think its wise coz wild moves seldom happen...

Well, indeed bank nifty spot tracked and options traded. Took 17500pe @ 100 near EOD y'day and it has already doubled. Hearty congrats from my side for sharing this simple yet very effective strategy.

many thanks steven for your views.

actually I have also been trading this with options.. normally with very low quantity..

I am more of video game intra kind of 'trader'.. maybe gambler is a better word.

I tried last 12 times (including one where no crossover happened. more like rejection, so exited and entered ).

8 times I was able to hold for a few days and took mega profits. out of 4, 2 felt like Seppuku. and 2 were average.

Just that I took 1 strike in the money.. just to get the option that is not too expensive (so that it doesn't feels like futures margin Laughing )

worked well..

Regards,
