Today's testing result..
1.) BHARAT FORG : Hit the target
2.) ALBK : 70% booked . 30% booked on trailing SL
3.) Polaris : BO did took place, However it was short lived and came back.. Came out at cost. Thogh it has turned back again ...
4.)GODREJPROP : BO yet to happen.. waiting with buy SL..
Well, still not bad..
Cheers,
-Sumesh

Hi Casper,
Thanks to you dear for initiating this informative learning link.. Surely we all Shall be benefitted by it , if we try to participate in what you call "Pilot test".
I went through your entire thread including your all important strategy word document before starting my test and commenting anything on them.
So far, I have tested this strategy to almost 90% of success rate which is quite good I feel. Once I develop confidence over a period of time, I shall think of increasing my stakes...
I like more of day-trade because it allows to enjoy your time post market hours, though it requires lot of monitoring and risk is more, but then in present scenerio, risk is even more in carrying given the amount of volatility we are witnessing...
Earlier, I used to switch between multiple time frames, now I have restricted myself to 60tf, as I found it to be most reliable in day trade. My buy/sell signals are based on hourly only. I strongly recommend all trader brothers to follow only one time frame whichever they are comfortable with.
Thanks & Regards,
Sumesh

u see the time frame drop down menu?? now just click on the button which is just immediately left to this drop down menu, it will allow u to adjust number of days and number of years.
whatever days u select at most u can get around 10-20 days depending upon ur system and network connection, so selecting more than 20 days wont be helpful |
thanks casper
sorry for late reply

Hi Vishal,
Generally positional trades are based on EOD charts, but if there is a setup which needs a Breakout then EOD BO can sometimes take away lots of profit. This is my observation. However, if a EOD setup is in tune with 60tf, then I go with that.
I found one today like this setup. BEL . It is a sym. Triangle, which is still NOT broken. Tomorrow if it closes above 1730, then you can go long for a target of 1775/1820. SL is 60tf close below 1680.
Regards,
Sumesh

Onmobile 252.7..........RSI is oversold
It is my perception that tom it will must touch 269 atleast in intraday.

Hi Casper,
It open at 270 and trade well near 269 and close 263.
Now , I would like to share why i was expecting this.
This tips is given my teacher (a 25+ experiend trader, 8+ year teaching experience, He resigned from Piolet in Air Force due to his passion abt share market. He was teaching in a institute with Mr. Ashwani Gujral before start his own institute )
He told us that whenever i share fall badly due to any reason in market and try to overcome in last few minute of market, and close far from Last Trade Price due to average price, then it is very much chances that the stock must trade at LTP in next day. The fact behind it is that the buyer is generally a big boy having a huge position in stock and was trying to make M to m by increasing rates in last few minutes.
...Vishal
