Hi,
How do you plot 4 hr chart? which interval do you choose? 4 hour chart starts only after 4 hours of mkt opening? sorry a newbie in plotting chart....good trick

please select "4sec" from the timeframe dropdown... Yes, it starts from 0915 and first candle ends @1259

Ok, so if i choose 60min TF ,then i can see 1st candle around 10:15 for intraday trading....and once 5/200 confirmed, then i can choose 10 min TF to check 5/200...right?

Amit:
1 You need to subscribe to IC premium OR platinum service (I subs to premium so I can talk about that)
2 In IC premium, you can access a webpage called J Charts Premium
3 The main chart has boxes in 2 rows above it. One of the boxes on top row, right side, has pull down menu of time and down arrow eg 30 sec +arrow
4 In this box FOURTH from the bottom you will find an option WRONGLY marked as 4 sec (just above daily). if you choose this option and CANDLE option on top row, then the scrip data gets displayed as candles of 4 hr duration
5 Obviously if you choose just today's data, then the first candle will keep forming 0915-1315, so you choose option of 2-5 days data ( box 3rd from right side, top row) to get ready candles of previous days' trading

Not like that
Both works equally good... Nothing wrong in updating trading skills.. In
present conditions going with trend is very fruitful. This method works excellently in catching trend moves...
