Dear JJM. Thanks. I can wait till eternity.
Dear ST
The reason for asking your final thoughts for the day was because of a few things that I observed while watching the intraday chart and values of NF & some calls. They are as follow
1. After making a low of about 5010 (I think at 1.30 pm), NF rose a bit and remained flat with slightly higher bottoms for about an hour. It then rose again and started making higher tops and higher bottoms and I felt that it was going to move up, based on my observation of charts on earlier ocassions, though I don't have any logic for it.
2. NF premium sudenly rose from -2 to as much as 13.
3. 5400 call rose faster than 5300 call. (In fact 5400 call ended higher over previous close in % terms as compared to 5300 call.)
Also, NF closed above S1 level given by you earlier.
I could not interpret what I was seeing, either individually or their connection, if any.
Thanks as ever

Answers to your points:
1. The late rise could just have been due to too much selling done too fast. Stuff happening in the market need not have logic (always) behind it. In other words we can always think that NF got too oversold too fast. That could have been one of the many reasons. It could also have been shorts booking profits.
2. This may happen when NF is rising after a quick fall.
3. This might indicate more demand for 5400CE than 5300CE which could indicate a probable rise until 5400....again this is just speculation. No real idea on this one.
About price closing below S1....does not matter....tomm we have new levels anyway. It could indicate some bearishness but I would not think too much about it.
Vinay, don't analyse so much. Keep your analysis simple. Looking and thinking of many things like options, levels, premium etc is doing over analysis which is not good. Just a suggestion....
We will see more tomm.

Thanks ST. I am not analysing too much, although I do tend to think too much at times and want to understand "why". I just happened to notice these things. |

NF between R2 & R3. Trend for now is up until R2 breaks to the downside. If R2 breaks significant support is there in BULL-R1 band. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

It's struggling to break R3. There is also a negative divergence forming on RSI 1min and 5min charts. Am i right? |
