sumesh ,
IN both the charts you have posted
1) you should seek for APF ,after confirming there is chsnge in trend , with formation of new trendline
2) change in trendline can be seen by trendline drawing with break, also it can be confirmed by macd cross.
or any other suitable method
3)major trends and chang in trends would give more correct results ,rather than smaller trends
4) pitchfork , 3 lines , as upper , median, and lower lines would act as support resistance line, tgt along with median lines may reach , or may not , but that can act as resistance, in some cases that can also be surpassed to touch/cross upper line also.
so while taking position one can treat support /resistance , with proper sl .

The idea behind posting the trades is not to prove how great the method is or how intelligent the trader is.........Its up to each individual to learn or not. If somebody has any issues they can stay away from this thread..........
Carry on with your charts svkum,it is much more important to find a method which works for you..........let the people find out themselves......
NOTE:-If someone feels that the method does not work, he is free to have his views and find a system which works for him .........
Regards, hasten
Good trading is not about being right,it is about trading right. If you want to be successful, you need to think of the long run and ignore the outcome of individual trades.....

RELIANCE..15tf
============
Dear svkum sir / Hasten bhai,
Please pardon me if my apf understanding is wrong in the attached chart... I request you to please correct me wherever I'm wrong, this will help many others are trying to understand this very effective yet tricky method of drawing proper PFs. Why I'm saying tricky is like other patterns based system, individual perception of apf may produce different results..
Anyways, based on feedback I recvd. from svkum sir and hasten , I have tried to draw APF for reliance on 15tf...As you can see there was a break of DTL on longer time period, so I feel a PF can be drawn..
Now, If this is correct, can you please explain Entry & Exit with their logic ?
Also, Is it that since we are in uptrend(hence upward pitchfork), we should only look for Long ?
Regards,
Sumesh

chetan,
yes , what you have drawn is correct (pl connect exactly low and top of trendline and draw a median line from earlie majorr top or low (whichever the cas) also draw parrellel to ML from high and low point , to show upper line and lower line ,
in case of this chart ,change of trend is confirmed after bb break, then ML wd act as support and then lower line as 2nd support. it has shown bounce from lower line , moving towards ML again .

Reliance chart 15 tf
sumesh , i am giving ril chart 15 tf ,
as you can see stock has moved towards the ML, and afterwards also it has not changed the trend, and moving towards upperline.(may touch 745 )
now support line is ML , and upper line can be treated as resistance line .
