| dear saju any trading techniq followed by most no.of traders has a highest %of succes// unless done in eloborate fassion it doesnt serve much purpose for others and u r also wasting ur time. and ours.choice is ur good luck |

Everything said, you can continue posting the trades. You have started this thread in the "Trading Journals" section, the idea of which is to record trades without explaining the trading system which is what you want to do.
To others....those who want explanation of trading systems, please see the "Strategies" forum.

Thanks Site Admin for the objective decision.
As i have got the mandate from Site Admin itself,i will go ahead with my trade log,which i will be updating as soon as initiation of trade...those who are interested can follow the thread and others pls ignore.
Banknifty Junefuture short @ 9173...still holding short as per system ( trade initiated in morning session). |

astrologer...? defenitly no  ,this is basically a trend following system which listens to the market rather than predicting it.We r taking controlled losses (remember win % - only 54%..without target profit booking,with target profit booking it may increase to 75-80%,but that will affect the performance) and profit is decided by the market, not the trader...it is the simplest way of trading the market...and win it.

If you are looking for reason behind trades posted here then you should actually be look under "Strategies" section where detailed explanation of posted strategies are given.

How do you advice to hold long on weekend specially the the world market may lead to double depression? How do you justify the huge gap down opening on monday ? Is it lack of listening to the market or predicting it?..............Market is not only driven by your funda but also sometime world phenomenon............ |

this Trading system does not predict. So if events happen after markets close, no one should be blamed.

Hi,
These things do happen in trend following system..and the system draw down takes care of that.
Even trading a good system demands controlling of emotions and taking the signals as they come...what it essentially does is "following" the market.Review of the trading system performance should normally be done on a quarterly basis or the least on a monthly basis...not trade by trade.I will be summarising the trading performance on a monthly basis.
True..one could have booked partial profit on seeing the negative divergence on MACD...but as i already mentioned,this system doent incorporate part profit booking ... but it still makes money in the end...

What if the prices reverse from here after first or second hour. It has not fallen below 3 days range or 75% of recent upswing. Will there not be a whipsaw? Short position can wait for a better position I think.
