Hi,

Hi Vinst, yes SALORAINTL has given a BO..1st was above 55 and then 2nd above 60..One could wait 60 levels to enter with 50% quantity and rest 50% if 55 levels comes again..The previous Breakout wall usually results in great support after Break out happens.

Hi Anand, practically speaking it's always very tough to analyze targets based on charts if BO happens, as the stock moves in new zone of the charts Wink

I would suggest keep booking partial profits after BO happens and where u r getting good 10% returns immediately after breakout..

Chrome, you have picked up some excellent BO based trades..
Other than volume and trendlines, do u consider EMAs or SMAs also to enter ?

I just entered into Biocon & Dish TV (50%).. Let's see...

Regards,
Sumesh

Hi Sumesh,

Yes I consider 50, 107, 200 Days EMA in my trades...usually strong supports are seen on these levels....I get confident in long trades if Price is above 200 Days EMA.

Hi Chrome,

Please draw and see your EOD chart & confirm if ICICI is making a valid BO above 1000 . (Not yet formed)..

It is running above all EMAs ( 50,107,200) ...

Regards,
Sumesh

Hi Sumesh

Thanks for posting ur comments as well as a wonderfull chart too based on breakout setup.

I keep hunting this on EOD charts based, with keeping SL a few points below the breakout Zone. Basically, this is a positional trading strategy for me. Yes, at times we may face whipsaws where scrip may go a bit more down that Breakout zone and then rebound again..but that's how market shows its supremeness !!!

Anyways, all welcome for any finetune, comments on breakout trading strategy. Posting a few more charts based on breakout trading strategy.

1.) Corporation Bank- breakout above 560 (EOD)
2.) Ferro Alloys- breakout above 30 (EOD)
3.) Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd- breakout above 155 (EOD)

try to catch near to BO zones .

Just updating the trades based on Breakout setup:

1.) Corporation BO @ 560...Now CMP 602..Made high of 608.
2.) Ferro Alloys BO @ 30...in -ve now..could not hold on the BO Mad
3.) Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd BO @ 155...Now CMP180...Made high of 184.

Hi friends,

Starting a new thread for trades/ probables based on Breakout or Breakdown moves.

Resistances/ Supports when gets broken alongwith high volumes, results in good breakout or down in near term. Also, the resistance now becomes support and vice versa in case of break downs.

Posting some nice Breakout charts supporting with high volumes.

1.) Autoline Industries Ltd -- 1st breakout above 145 and now 2nd breakout above 158. This time it is supported with Huge Huge volumes.

2.) Lakshmi Precision Screws Ltd -- breakout above 62 levels. High volumes are also supporting this.

Readers are most welcome to post such charts or comments here regarding Breakout/ breakdown trading strategy.

Updating post of 21st July:

1.) Autoline Industries Ltd -- 1st breakout above 145 and now 2nd breakout above 158 ...... CMP 195.

2.) Lakshmi Precision Screws Ltd -- breakout above 62 levels..... CMP at 63.40...Made High of 69 , still looks good for upside

2 more powrful candidates of Break out strategy:

KULK-POWER (BSE code 505299) : Breakout above 100...One can buy only if it sustains above 100.

SAREGAMA : Breakput above 85..One can buy at 85 with good upmove expected soon !
Wink

BIOCON if one can hold for say 1-2 months, I would ask to avg more @ 315 zone, if these levels come !! It can start fresh upmove from there ....

For shorter duration trades, I would suggest a SL of 322 though...but would preffer adding more near 315
