I have made a small utility in excel to easily Calculate CAGR ( compound annual growth rate)

Dear SID

Why you are wasting your time by doing such meaningless calculation sheets. (I do remember you were posting such kind of sheets earlier also)

These things can be done through simple excel functions.

Any way if you think that only you know such function keep posting.

Dear Amit,

The simple excel function ur talkin abt to find out CAGR is XIRR. Its formula is:

=xirr(value,date,guess)

Try that and try my ulitity, u will find out which one is more easy to use and understand.

Dear gaurav,

Its all my pleasure...If we can Maintain a CAGR above 25 % than its considered good. Now calculate ur portfolio CAGR and compare it with ur fav mutual fund schemes or benchmark index like nifty,sensex. U will know who performed better or which one outperformed...
