Rahul,

I'm not an expert, but still can tell u from my own experience that people shift from one strategy to other in desperation without understanding it fully and without giving it sufficient time in various market conditions...

However, looking at risk-reward ratio, level of complexity and chances of finding the setup , I can say NVK setup is the best for someone who is new in trade. You can start with 5tf and 60tf based NVK setups (Information is available in the forum under "nvk setup" thread)..

The other beautiful technique is Speculator method of swing trading. Once you understand its pivot finding and proper SL methods, it is highly rewarding.

You have to keep asking people who are using these techniques for quite some time now in the forum. The best part is people in icharts are extremely helpful..

So go ahead and learn and apply these setups to your advantage..

Regards,
Sumesh

trading is not so simple..first know ur self..i.e

1.How much return you are expecting from that stock(More RETURN/MORE RISK)
2.Maintain STOP loss/Trailing stop losses.
3.your STOCK is in uptrend/down trend..finding the trend
4.IF u r intraday trader ,trade stocks which are trading above open.
5.don't hesitate to take profits or get out of positions
6.waiting for the signal is better than loosing money.

try to use these methods:

1.plot EMA 7 and SMA 19
2.BUY IF EMA7>SMA 19
3.SELL IF EMA7<SMA 19
4.Use RSI(13,30,70) and ADX(13,13)(for trend/trade identification)
5.use PIVOT POINTS to identify SUPPORT/RESISTANCE

try to understand CANDLESTICKS charts..and signals

if u r day trader..

1.select STOCK today..

2.say xyz company..closing price of XYZ=10/-
3.find out support/resistance of ur stock.
4.buy XYZ if it opens above 11/- with sl=10 or 9/-
5.sell XYZ if it opens below 10/- with stoploss..10/ or 11..

try to trade as simple as possible.
here is chart for example..

Spec's method is decent for swing trading. Understand the logic of system and apply. One can make consistent profits using this method.
thanks and regards

Strange that you haven't got any book other than this. What's more amazing that this book has changed your style.
