i do fno mostly. equities i trade for keeping like 5-10 days for small profits.

what you goal is from trading for how many days / profits i dont know.

if its short-medium term pyramid is good because it involves buying lowest % at top and highest % at bottom of your capital you want to investment. Thus the name pyramid.

If you are looking to buy a stock. buy 10% @ cmp. when you see 5% fall, but more 5% of your capital amount. if you wait and if it falls further say 20% buy more 20% from your capital.

Ultimately your avg price will be more close to the last buying price.
