Again it proved, any trade taken prior to important/crucial events with out proper hedging can be dangerous. So always one should avoid taking positions before an important event, because no technicals work during such times. Best is to take a trade in options like buying both put and call , if at all one is interested to take advantage of such events, but small amounts should be risked.
This is my experience, as I have seen many serious traders who avoid taking positions before crucial events.
After all we are all traders who learn with experience, to be a successful .

Ajay : Very well said.
Let me take your excellent post ONE STEP ahead by saying we can enter intra day when indicators show the worst is over. If we look at intraday chart, NF reversed from 1230 PM onwards till 1420 PM, and showed continuous rise of around 170 pts!
This was also reflected in huge gains in single scrips from their intra day lows
I got 3 excellent intra day trades on Friday by entering at low when BB, ADX, MACD and RSEX showed me reversal was happening/ imminent
What was especially ridiculous was 10% drop in Punjab HQ Motherson Sumi which is based in 25 countries and not affected much (or at all) by Brexit. Such examples show that unscrupulous traders are having field day because SEBI is asleep. In fact I am only surprised that such excessive enthusiasm on part of large traders is not being investigated at all by SEBI (who seem to be focussing entirely on punishing Be-sahara Subroto!)
