Hi All,

I am looking for a data comparison wherein I can get a Comparative Relative Strength between:

2 Stocks
1 Stock & Applicable Index
2 Indices

(Basically, to know which particular one is a better positional buy or sell).

It compares the strength of the selected component against the strength of the underlying. For Eg: Strength of SBIN Vs PNB or SBIN Vs. BankNifty / CNX Bankex, or BankNifty Vs. Nifty.

Do you know of any place where I can get this data either as a numerical or a chart?

moneycontrol.com

U can overlap two charts. You can compare stock against another stock/index.

You can certainly compare 2 scrips in J Charts Premium by adding a name in bottom left corner (empty box) below list of shares
eg main chart Nifty 1m
add at bottom NIFTY = nifty (spot)
and lo and behold 2 charts are visible on screen

You can get into problems because suppose compare nifty 1m with value around 5700 and LT around 1700, LT will appear like pygmy at bottom screen. Scrips like Indian Hotels (CMP 65) will not appear at all

If you plot P&F chart manually, it is very easy. You can plot for two items on the same sheet, as RSI reading is from 1 to 100 only.

Dear Member,

We currently have Comparative Relative Strength for Stock Vs Index and that too on EOD basis. Please use Charts(Premium) where you can find this as Upper Indicator.

Regards

Kamal

Dear Prakash Holla

What you are saying is not the case

Even the Scrip like KFA will appear along with BANKNIFTY because the both will use different axis for primary chart right hand and for secondary chart it will be left hand axis

Go and do it yourself for both symbols but for secondary chart you can plot indicators etc.
