may i know the reason if u are following any SAR based system |

Yes....mine is a trailing sl system ....sometimes the entry levels will be depending on the current movement of the stock....if at some point , the volume is low, i might even enter earlier... |

What a bad luck yesterday!!!!
I had to step out after 7 pm, so I placed the above orders and left..When i saw @ 8.05 pm, 2 idiotic things happened-
1. Price hit SL and took reverse position before 8.01 pm, now I am in buy with 4 mini lots....within 30 seconds, the price fell to sell target 1 before i could cancel the order...so now I am in buy with 6 mini lots when the price was falling....how lucky is the fellow who sold me @ 3130....had to exit with a loss yesterday....lessons learnt....
Today Crude will open gap up...anything above 3050 is a buy by 11 am only
Hold on to copper sell position...yesterday the target was not achieved due to low volatility and i closed one position by intraday...carrying forward sell position from 336.1
Superb downtrend waiting for copper....lets hope it hits 331.5 |

good candid observation.......an on top of it when the data was much better than API nos.....!
on 'inventory day' observed in past that crude rewards "profit" followers and takes out the SLs. so have limit profit orders near to price at 7.30-8 if in open position. because both near and wide SL can be hit. have to tweak the system or override somewhat on such occasions...noting wrong in that. |

Yes....previous or week before that, i kept similar sl....and it rewarded me so well in minilots...yesterdays seller @ 3130 was the culprit |

| Opened 2 mini crude lots today @ 3036 .....will hold till target hits 3105 intraday or carry forward...might hit 3130 / 3175 next week |
