It looks like Crude Oil is about to fall shapely. The confirmation point is approximately 3400. Once it close below 3400, then you might see it falling to 2400 sharply.

The first indication will be a breakdown below the congestion region shown circled.

You are exactly right. Since it could not CLOSE ABOVE $81 for more than 1 day and huge volume in that region whenever crude crosses $80 confirms it is poised for a big fall.
Adding fuel to fire will be the strength developing in Dollar against other currencies.

as per your channel trading also crude is bullish above 3800 only.
