Hi Welgro
Good to read your autobiography as a trader....
I am 32 years old and not yet met any trader in person in my life.
all are virtual only. Like you said for all are virtual guru's whose articles I read and learn...
Thanks for sharing your experience...

Hi Raj
My 2 cent advise if you are student yet, then be a student only and try to finish your academic first. Do not get lured by others who are making money. Career in stock market will go for life time till the time you are able to work.
Like welgro wherever he is, he has given 16 years of his life studying stock market and still saying he gained only handful only still many things to learn.
Since I am also in this journey behind welgro and in the market from the past 3 years regularly and 2-3 years just for time pass and still I can say that I am not able to conquer my emotion (Greed/Fear) and I can understand your mind set about the greed which is going on in your mind.
Please don't get disappoint by my comment, I am not taunting you in anyway and any form..
My only concern is education. People are lucky who gets good academic.

Hi Raj
Then it is a good time to start a trading career as it is the correct age with less responsibility, you can take more risk You can face many failures to be be beaten from market.
Find your own system. Over time you will find the system which you need. Or blindly follow some one else footstep/System without any question because he/she is the person who has already faced the difficulties and then reached there. I will suggest follow the later one.
It is said the main hurdle is when you first double your money. Once you double it then trading become easier but when you start your journey you will face hurdles, greed, fears and you will learn to accept it on your journey, then only success comes.
You are lucky that at least you have some one in your journey to mentor you. Nobody was there for me I got beaten a lot by market (I was my own enemy)
I will blog my experience once I reach my desired goal. Till then cheers.
My Gurus are books, Internet and people on Icharts.

Dear raj_jain1,
you need to understand.. Now a days market is in trending... You you can get big profits...(All the strategy give good results).
But you will face Continually loss,When the market is in Range bound. So mentally be prepared every thing is possible in this market.
First Important thing :
Monthly Income : I am full time trader,But i have a monthly income from other source. I have a T board Tavera (I get monthly income from that vehicle ).
So now i can concentrate market without stress.I fixed my risk.so i don't over trade. i am only trade future with hedge.
raj ji,
First you need to generate fixed monthly income source before to start trading career. And start trading with Small qty. when you feel comfortable with your trading strategy then increase qty step by step. |

Thankyou welgro.
3 learnings for me
- no. Of brokers required for unforeseen circumstances
- importance of "any chosen " level and sticking to it and riding the bigger trend despite one or two whipsaws
- try to book 20-25 points profit for 50 percent or some chosen qytn |
