ST,
If somebody is bearish, what diagonal spread he/she should trade as for any combination I don't see hedge % less than 40%?

In that case go with Long Nov ITM and Short Oct OTM irrespective of the hedge %.
Ideally, don't close one leg of a diagonal and stay holding a naked option (especially the short side). You are at the mercy of market movement from them on (this is with regards to you other message). Be careful with naked option positions.

Dear ST sir,
I have gone through the thread and found it very interesting. I have opened a diagonal today. Bought 8200 CE Feb for 183 and sold 8300 CE Jan for 59.75. Hedge comes to 32 % approx. Will seek your guidance as and when required.

Oh! didn't see your previous message carefully. You have initiated a one strike wide diagonal. It is okay but just that both risk & reward are going to be very low. This is just FYI...

Please post your uptodate charts showing bullishness/ bearishness etc of NF so that we can get a clearer idea of whether, from here NF ... 7500/7200 or 8500 + ???

long option at 308 (+ 125 points)
closed positions with a profit of 43 points. Not bad..
will look for a two strike wide diagonal next time..
