I have not tested this using weekly options yet. I will test it when I find time. We still don't have enough weekly options data to really be comfortable about the test results, but I will still give it a try.
Will post an update when I do it.

Those who have missed our announcement on our home page, please head to https://www.icharts.in/opt and register there if you wish to look at the "Options Tools" site we are building. It is currently available to look at free until the end of this month. You will be able to plot options strategies like verticals, calendars, diagonals, ratios, straddles, strangles & butterflies. You would be able to view IV, IV-HV & IVR-IVP charts. You would also be able to view regular options charts.
Many other tools also are available and more will be added as we complete those. We are actively working on adding many more tools, scans etc.

| Diagonal spreads are really working well with monthly in the money and weekly at the money options combination during this high volatile situation. Beauty of it is even if market goes against you you can close your position with mild profits. If it moves in your direction obviously you will be in good profit as weekly expiry date nears. |

While the trade is moving in your direction you may keep on rolling over your weekly options with strike price adjustments as required.You can close the position once the index reverses and moves against your direction.You can do it leisurely no need to time it still you will be in good profits. |

Very true, currently the time is good because volatility has come down significantly and IVR is at low levels. These are the times diagonals / calendars work well.

Still their is A lag in option charts --
The IV, IV-HV & IVR-IVP charts are not shown .... |
