Different readings for same indicator on different charts? |

dear friends
As my technical knowledge says DMI & ADX are same indicator.(plz correct me if i am not right).Assuming this is correct,I have following confusion.
DMI reading for Nifty on 8/8/08 (closing) was 22.81 (JChart EOD)
ADX reading for Nifty on 8/8/08 (closing) was 29.93 (Charts Premium)
(Note: Time frame for both charts is Year till date)
1) Are two indicators different from each other?
2)If yes, then which one we should use to determine strenght of trend?
3)If no, then why different readings?
4)Why dont we have ADX indicator on JCharts EOD or DMI indicator on Charts Premium?
Kindly answer my questions. |
