Greetings!
In JCharts (EOD) the DMA becomes straight/horizontal for the
last 6/7 candles.
Will someone explain about this indicator solve this problem.
Thanks in anticipation. Smile

Dear Member,

If you use LEFT displaced and select say period 5, then for last 5 candles typically it should not display any line as the moving average is behind the price i.e shifted 5 candles before. In JCharts, instead of not displaying the line it just plots a flat line.

Regards

Kamal

Thank you very much Kamal. I could get a regular line by
shifting to the LEFT as advised.

Thank you PKholla. Earlier I had read your post also. It was
explained very informatively by you.

Very much obliged by the two stalwarts of ICharts.

All the best wishes.
