Download NSE Bhavcopy Viewer
NSE Bhavcopy Viewer (NBV) is a utility to view the daily bhavcopy zip file (PR.zip) that is available from NSE at the end of each trading day. It provides a convenient and flexible means to view subsets of the bhavcopy such as selecting a set of files or symbols or groups, or a combination.
The end-of-day (EOD) bhavcopy is a zip files combining multiple files. The latest bhavcopy is available from this link at the National Stock Exchange, India (NSE) website. The zip contains some files in text/csv format; while others are .doc files. Some ASCII comma delimited files of interest are:
Annouuncements
Book Closures
Upper/Lower Band Hits
Board Meetings
Currency Futures
Futures
New Price Highs/Lows
Options
Equities
NBV is a GUI utility that combines the varous pieces of information from these files and presents it in a tabular format, NSE does not provide a utility to easily view such files, and NBV aims to help do just that.

Handle the embedded zip that contains F&O data.
Include the new(er) sectoral indices.
Parse the Currency options data.
Add ability to download historical bhavcopy files.
Make display columns user selectable.
Add grid to display differences between two bhavcopies.

The zip file also has an HTML file, which is not allowed in the Forum. Please upload only the set up file for NSE Bhav copy viewer.
