Can anyone please guide me how to make earnings estimate for the forthcoming financial years. FY12, FY13...
For fundamental analysis, calculation of EPS and P/E.

Sorry Diwakar, I dont have any idea about the method for calculating the forward earnings....I just rely on the brokerage reports or other web contents.....Hope someone here will be able to help you...

this is a seperate study by the name of " financial statement analysis". search for books on this subject.

This is estimated on some judgement , based on past performance of a company.
NET PROFIT FOR THE YEAR=X
NO.OF SHARE ISUUED =Y
SO EPS = X/Y=E
AND PE = IF MARKET RATE =Z
THEN PE =Z/E

based on past 3 years or 12 quarters , analysts esimate future earnings and work out ratios as explained.
if eps =10 and market rate =200 then PE ratio is 20
