Oh god... this is the first time in my life i actually experienced it... the chair i was sitting was shaken - Chinese lucky bell tied near the door was in fact dancing like rudrathandavam... it is really terrible feeling here in chennai...

| it was a horizontal plate movement unlike vertical in 2004. it is also 400kms from indonesia so quake and tsunami damage can be lesser. tsunami to hit india in about 3 hours |

Felt locations in Bangalore include MG Road, Koramanga, Residency Road, ORR, Whitefield Road.
Couple of offices evacuated in ORR.
