hi ST Sir,
In the Scan engine will it be possible to check whether the price (CMP) is above or below EMA89 within 0.5% & also whether the CMP is above or below a level within 0.5%.

Regards,
Dilesh

Hi,

That will take some more time. The scans will first display only CMP with levels & current day's high & low. Later I will add the 89 EMA check as I still need to finish intraday indicator generation that is pending since some time. That work is also going on as part of intraday technical scanner. Once that gets to certain point it will be available for use here too.

Diwakar,

Actually I am just testing out the pre-defined scans that I am preparing based on icharts levels. Let me post the criteria for each of these (will post charts later):

BULLISH : CMP is above R1

SIDEWAYS WITH BULLISH BIAS : CMP is above BULL and has traded today between R1 and S1 only.

SIDEWAYS : Has traded today between BULL and BEAR only.

SIDEWAYS WITH BEARISH BIAS : CMP is below BEAR and has traded today between R1 and S1 only.

BEARISH : CMP is below S1

*** CMP : Current Market Price

Everybody...please give me pre-defined scan suggestions based on iCharts levels, if you have any.

Dear ST,

Thank you very much for the criteria to identify the trend...

And one more question...

How you are able to track as many indices and stocks... and also you trade in it....

Regards,
Diwakar R

I only track NF & BNF futures and max 12-15 stocks. The stats I am posting are from our database that does all the tracking like which stock is where with respect to the levels. Something like this cannot be done manually.

NF & BNF have both opened near their BEAR levels and also around 89 EMA. The BEAR and 89 EMA are now crucial, the price action around these will determine the near term trend of prices.

Current market stats :

BULLISH : 65
SIDEWAYS WITH BULLISH BIAS : 53
SIDEWAYS : 239
SIDEWAYS WITH BEARISH BIAS : 36
BEARISH : 25

I would say the currently trend/bias is mostly neutral at the moment (surely not as bullish as it was yesterday).

Dear ST,

OH (977.15) broken... LOC (979.43) posing resistance...

Now is it consolidating or a sign of reversal from LOC...

Long from 972.05... Enjoyed the opening fall too...

Market Stats:

BULLISH : 109
SIDEWAYS WITH BULLISH BIAS : 25
SIDEWAYS : 115
SIDEWAYS WITH BEARISH BIAS : 35
BEARISH : 36

The pendulum is swinging towards bullishness at the moment.

st sir,can we have an option in scan to show stocks with open=high and stocks with open=low?
i hv noticed that this kinds of stocks generally have good downside and upside potentials and if used with ichart levels, give a clear insight of what is going to happen.

NF & BNF are buys if they move above their LOC levels.

When I say move above certain level, I mean they rise above those levels and stay there for a little while atleast (min 2-3 bar sideways move). A bar above a level and then fall below the level on the next bar is not valid. This is just a guideline (but a good one)...experience will give you more idea on this.

BNF Breakout

The risk takers entry is shown in the chart below with SL just below LOC. If there is a pullback after this and one takes the safe entry there then the ideal SL is below BEAR.
