ST: that analysis with bias is working great, but it needs to be analysed a bit more... in terms of statistical bias...? |

Yeah, my idea also is the same. Currently I am collecting data for it. Once I have sufficient historical data (market stats based on icharts levels) I can do statistical analysis on it.
I now have sufficient historical data for iCharts levels, I am planning to do statistical analysis on this data too. Will post my findings once I am able to find time to do this. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

NF at LOC. Note that BULL & BEAR are relatively far from LOC unlike other days. On Such days one can take trades in the direction of the move away from LOC. The move away from LOC has to, preferably, be supported by little more than average volume (this depends on one's judgement). Basically look for a strong thrust. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

Market Stats (as of 2010-08-26 09:13:11)
BULLISH : 55
SIDEWAYS WITH BULLISH BIAS : 82
SIDEWAYS : 202
SIDEWAYS WITH BEARISH BIAS : 10
BEARISH : 4
Don't see too many bearish scrips today which is good. Let us see how this unfolds after little while. After 9:30 AM we should have a clearer picture. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

Market Stats (as of 2010-08-26 09:32:53)
BULLISH : 64
SIDEWAYS WITH BULLISH BIAS : 90
SIDEWAYS : 148
SIDEWAYS WITH BEARISH BIAS : 15
BEARISH : 8
Market still firm. For NF, 89 EMA is the resistance. A break above it can take it to bull initially and further depending how price reacts with bull level. A break below LOC will now be bearish.
*** For above stats only scrips trading above Rs. 100 are considered. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

Thank you sir.. Already had entered at 2846 (as this stock sometimes does not give a chance to enter!) and booked part at 2855 near R2. Now trailing stop is below R1 at 2840. Hope I am going correct.

Market Stats (as of 2010-08-26 11:35:01)
BULLISH : 82
SIDEWAYS WITH BULLISH BIAS : 77
SIDEWAYS : 85

BEARISH : 12
Bias still continues to be bullish but more scrips have now moved from sideways to sideways with bearish bias. But bullish scrips remain firm. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

NF at 89 EMA now....if it can clear this, it could quickly move to BULL. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

Back to same status when market opened....around LOC. Blame it on expiry!!! Be careful though....bearish scrips building up....this can drag the market down. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar

My suggestion is to have tighter stops today and trail aggressively to counter the random expiry swings that may (or may not) happen. The scenario can change quickly below 89 EMA and then below LOC. _________________ Srikanth Kurdukar
