now I think I know what your problem is. SL right? For that you should use option calculator, which gives you fairly accurate values of options at any nifty level considering time remaining. If it doesn't reach the value, it means something is wrong about it, which is a alert. You can similarly get value at nifty target also. |

Options Calculator? Based on the Black and Scholes model or the Binomial/Trinomial method? the figures are very different. Also, it requires you to put the Implied Volatility which can never be calculated exactly. IV Keeps changing with every tick. "In financial mathematics, the implied volatility of an option contract is that value of the volatility of the underlying instrument which, when input in an option pricing model (such as Black-Scholes) will return a theoretical value equal to the current market price of the option. A non-option financial instrument that has embedded optionality, such as an interest rate cap, can also have an implied volatility." Quoting from wikipedia, because I can't even define in my own words. dont understand the concept very well.
Since doing Intraday trading using options to make some 50-100 pts I feel that rather than understanding the greeks and IV and HV and Time value etc etc. simple keep targets based on Fibbo15 and book profits when these levels hit. SL accordingly.
Again I feel if we start analyzing IV and greeks and TTE we would end up in "analysis paralysis". 
However, I am not an expert and there maybe more things than meet the eye and maybe there is a point that I have missed completely. Please do write back.
