23-05-2014

FII : 416.8 Cumulative 14013.38 (7474.31 April) ( 23662 March) (-185 Feb) (111 Jan) (13489 Dec)

DII : -135.50 Cumulative -5550.9 (-6346.33 April) (-12166March) (88 Feb) (-2429 Jan) (-7041 Dec)

Nifty 7367.10 (90.70) 1.25%

The 3 days mild selling by FII's could not induce any down ward move and was countered by buying generated through extreme bullish sentiment. One day positive inflows lifted up nifty by 1.25%.IT IS EVIDENT FROM THIS THAT THE RESISTANE FOR UPWARD MOVES MUST BE AT HISTORICAL LOWS AT THIS POINT OF TIME.

30-05-2014

FII : 2977 Cumulative 2977 (12916.38 May) (7474.31 April) ( 23662 March) (-185 Feb) (111 Jan) (13489 Dec)

DII : -458 Cumulative -458 ( -5692.9 May) (-6346.33 April) (-12166March) (88 Feb) (-2429 Jan) (-7041 Dec)

Nifty 7229.95 (-5.70) -0.08%

After 4 days of selling during climax of May series FII's bought nearly 3000 crores on the first day of new series; Which should be positive. There is a bright chance for an up move in over all market if not in index.

thats why the fii numbers are deceptive.

reliable indicator is when dii start accumulating on a daily basis, expect base to be near. hasn't happen in long time.

Could be right Doctor Shaw. That could be the reason for no upward movement in index.

Apka, I track cash market inflows /out flows on day to day basis to grasp the very short term movements ( we can as well grasp medium and long term movements with monthly, quarterly, Half yearly and yearly figures). Institutes may conceal their intentions in FNO transactions but can't do the same in cash market.

It's the FII's cash market action that cause movement of index in general. (there need not be a direct relation always but in general it's true).Even with naked Index movement we may predict direction i.e based on trend. Cash market actions of institutes may throw early hints for us.

If you review this thread predictions from the beginning they were almost always right. It's just a keep it simple approach that gave such a success.

02-06-2014

FII : 234.49 Cumulative 3211.49 (12916.38 May) (7474.31 April) ( 23662 March) (-185 Feb) (111 Jan) (13489 Dec)

DII : -148.81 Cumulative -606.81 ( -5692.9 May) (-6346.33 April) (-12166March) (88 Feb) (-2429 Jan) (-7041 Dec)

Nifty 7362.50 (132.55) 1.83%

Well, an up move appeared. Index moved up 130 points just with an induction of below 100 crores in cash market. That's why I said earlier that market is witnessing least resistance for upward moves. THATS CALLED BULL MARKET.
