It appears that the sell off is not initiated by FII's. They are still net buyers...means this correction may not sustain....though the magnitude makes the traders nervous. |

The sharp up move is as per our expectations. Sharp downward move which promptly followed is something surprising and the FII's cash flows too not able to explain this .
The only possible explanation is that both bullish and bearish positions are getting hunted by market makers. |

I suppose FII buying necessarily doesnt means they bought in cash or future. they might have bought PUTs. that will also get reflected as buying.
