yes, u missed a rather nice event.

13 of us met, not for the 'final supper' at the Karnataka Badminton Association.

Stimulating and productive meet. about 7 hours. chilled beer. decent food. good service.

thanks to Mr Narendra for organising the internet (yeah) data cards were #fail cos of yours truly). we ransacked the secretary's office for a little more than two hours with our laptops and projector.

Thanks, spec, for more airtime with the strategy for newbies.

To summarise, it was a session which dealt extensively with a projector based explanation of the 34 ema rejection by Speculator. While the entire strategy is posted on the forum, where it helped on sat was an interactive session with charts, marking of pivots, entry points, exits, SL, TSL.

That last bit was explained by way of ATR and PARSAR with examples.

This strategy was shown with a few real life examples of Nifty.

Spec also spent time on positional based trading using price and one single EMA on daily charts.

The point-figure method was used to correctly identify trades, exits, etc.

Unfortunately, we could not spend too much time on other strategies at length.

AS4Manju, Sairanga, Arul did explain their positional strategy, and you will have to excuse my inability to put it on paper. too many meetings with the kingfisher team you see

Lots of learning from this first meeting, both in terms of technical and non-technical learning. logistics can be improved, etc.
