we follow 55 days simple moving average high low and close.

Lic made 220.7-- closed below 217--- short in hand -- made low 215
Itc- Didnt cross 55 SMA close so its also a fresh short Before market close -- hit stop loss 190.90-- huge loss--

Hero Honda--- 55 Sma high was 1772-- it reached there and crashed to 1725 area-- still long

Hdfc abnk -- Still long

Fresh short is BPCL -- if tom dont cross 55 SMA close 626-- then short----

Bpcl crossed 626-- so not valid yet -- Again watch tom --if dont cross 55SMA close then on monday its a short

Today L&T (cash) closed above SMA 55 high which is @1670.

ITC -- short was short at 186-- and Stop loss was closing 190.90-- it went to 191.65-- so i exited,

but hourley 55 sms stop loss was 191.70-- which was safe today---

Please guide on this

pls dont play intra using this method.

in hourly charts (though i have never used or played ) use cross over 55 sma when 55 high sma crosses the 55 close sma, can short there. in itc chart i think that is around 192 or 193. and went below 185.

for daily chart it can be a false attempt for break out. now wait for close below low 55 sma and again open short with 55 days high sma. or if give break out above 55 days high sma go long with 55 days low sma. sometimes it happens that scripts made high and low as 55 days high and low but now it will go either side speedy. so dont let him go.

i haven't shorted i said we are watching kotak if closes below 55 low sma. that's it. every time we can not have a script ready for up or down break out but we have to watch out price movements closely to identify a valid entry. it takes some time.
