Buddy just small query, How to find Stocks crossing 55 SMA in ICHARTS.IN. Is that in Screener[Eod].
Lastly what you say is below:-
1. BUY= 55 SMA[High] Cross.
2.SELL= 55 SMA[LOW] Cross.
Please do clarify. |

1. BUY= 55 SMA[High] Cross.
2.SELL= 55 SMA[LOW] Cross.
for going long
cross means it should closed above 55 sma (high) today and the next day it should not go below 55 sma (close) then initiate buy.
for short sell
it should be closed below 55 sma (low) and next day itshould not cross 55 sma ( close ). then initiate short. |

All are closing basis.
One more thing, if you can guide me, how to find stocks crossing 55 SMA. |

Thanks Chirag for sharing. One thing i want to ask from u is that if (for long), the next day it closes below 55 SMA(Close) OR
if (for Short) the next day it closes above 55 SMA(Close), then what should be done.??? How to take a trade then?? |

yes after closing the market when charts are updated just set values as per high,55 low,55 close,55 in charts (premium) and check it out.
this set up is not for intra day but for break out base. if you found break out then trade accordingly ( long or short) but pls maintain stop loss properly.
how to find the script ? i normally use jcharts (eod) i set sma 55 and click on the script name which one is nearby 55 sma i track that scripts and trade. |

Its quite tiresome, u need to go through all Stocks but at last worth doing it. |

| i do it like that manually. as i do not have any charting software. on some sites they give details of 50 100 150 200 days positive or negative breakout select 50 days above and below breakouts and track the scripts. |

| then do not trade that day just watch next day price movement if give close above 55 high sma or below 55 low sma. then trade accordingly. coz until and unless this condition does not fulfill, we can not have meaningful up or down swing (good profit either side). |
