The strategy you are following shall have time value of atleast 120-140 points. Mr. Hansraj was targetting for 200 points. But this strategy can give you negative points if there are whipsaws arround your middle level. The stop loss shall be very tight. With low time value the gains could be negative in side way market.

Dear B.G.Salvi,
My understanding regarding this strategy is -you will not be in losses in normal conditions. Utmost your profits may be dented due to multiple and frequent whipsaws.
Yes, I know in case of lower or upper circuits opening in opposite direction of our nifty position will cause us severe losses; which case scenario is of very remote possibility. If you are lucky enough to continuously reap profits for a reasonable amount of time in this strategy, you can still with stand that worst case scenario and continue the game.
I would like to know your experience if any, which caused you losses while implementing this strategy.
Thanks & Regards
RK

Rahulji
Maintaining middle value with 10 point stop loss is very difficult. Suppose mean value is 5550 then if nifty goes up, one should buy at 5600 with SL 5590 or if nifty goes down you should sell at 5500 with sl 5510. My general experience is your sl gets triggered very offen. This strategy works good for offline trading. But broker may not be that prompt to take the reverse action immediately if sl is triggered.
As you have stated yes i have also traded with profit but it was in trending market.
I think discussing this strategy here is not correct as this ithread s for other strategy.
Regards,

Dijyya ! We need to try it for 1 year there will be approx 22% losses and 78% wins. Right now we don't know the way to decide whether it is going to be loss/win for this week.
Hoping for the best

UNFORTUNATE...
We should have kept Stopploss at friday high 5134, which was never triggerd, keeping in view of high volatality of the markets.. We failed to adopt to the specific Market conditions.
Otherwise, to day is the first profitable opening at 4870 and we would have pocketed a clean 178 whooping points.
Strategy is doing wonders . Operation sucess - patient dead.
Ok ,A good lesson.

Friday red candle, trend down, so, on monday, sell NF @ 4799(Friday low-4801.10), stoploss @ 4849, target @ first profitable opening of the next days.
