NIFTY Spot below 7640 is a signal of more weakness. Stay away from buying... if NIFTY SPOT closed below 7680 today then 7600-7550 level will be on chart early next weak.

Surprisingly NIFTY fall 119 points. The kind of recovery shown by NIFTY in afternoon suddenly lost momentum and fall down. BANK NIFTY out performed NIFTY today but 15500 is proving to be big resistance to cross.
Today FII and DII matched in selling and buying amount. What it means that FII's are selling Index stocks where as DII's are buying Mid cap stocks. Mid Cap index out performed NIFTY as it is corrected only 0.70%.
Another point to be noted is that BANKs witness buying in today's session. It could be build up to Tuesday's event.
FII's are short in CASH and Derivative is need to be closely watch.
FII Activity:
Cash Segment:
FII: – 1073 Crores
DII: + 1075 Crores
Derivative Segment:
IDEX FUTURES: - 1146 Crores
INDEX OPTIONS: + 3050 Crores
STOCK FUTURES: + 518 Crores
STOCK OPTIONS: + 143 Crores
OPTION Front:
In option data massive selling in NIFTY CALL are witnessed at all levels and accumulation in PUT are visible. This is not good for market for this series.
For last couple of months, expiry week ends in negative but from Monday onward market reversed to hit new highs. Only caveat this expiry is that FII selling 1000+ cr for last 2 days and Global market is also under selling pressure. |

Though I exited my nifty shorts on 40 point return expectation I had while initiating the trade ( since qty was large as I posted) and markets happened to touch both the long and short projection at 7715 and 7590-7620, I wished for most to not get carried away and hold the shorts.... Which gave another 30- 40 points.... Since this was a basic 'intra day 'pattern I was tracking
I would still expect shorts to be careful and may be exit on any closing above 7700 if it happens (as queried and pending in JTs thread, his stop is 7845)
What's ur stop? |

Currently we are sitting on +156 points in NIFTY, so we have couple of options:
1) Keep Stop Loss of 7730
OR
2) EXIT if NIFTY Future moved above 7675 |
