NIFTY gave another stellar session. Whatever traders think FII continued pumping money in India. NIFTY may consolidate a bit as indicators are over bought but 8000 target looks achievable.
BANK NIFTY crossed 15400 resistance now next resistance is @15741, once crossed it can reach 16000.
Heartening thing in today's session is that broad base buying in all sectors, which suggests strong under current.

FII: + 1290.68 Crores
DII: - 407 Crores
Derivative Segment:
IDEX FUTURES: + 560 Crores
INDEX OPTIONS: + 622 Crores
STOCK FUTURES: + 76 Crores
STOCK OPTIONS: - 18 Crores
OPTION Front:
NIFTY CALLS buying are visible @7800, 7900 and 8000 level
Highest level of NIFTY PUT writing are visible @7500 and 7600 level. |

Ans: Usually, trader should not hold more than 2-3 active calls running at the same time. Whether in profit or not.
2. your advice on MM to trade your calls? (assume capital is 1 lac)
Ans: I suggest do not consume 100% capital in money, take at the most 50-60K, because if trade is lose making, it will eat up your big portion of capital. In this market the one who stays for long time can make money. No one can double or triple it in 1-2 days. No one can give 100% correct calls, so saving capital is important for coming right calls.
3. any suggestion on position sizing in options .(assume capital is 1 lac)
Ans: It depends upon traders risk taking appetite and capital.
Advice:
1) Do not chase the price because if you buy at higher price then recommended price then Risk Reward ratio will change.
2) Stick to stop loss, because it will save money. This market is full of opportunity and traders will get more opportunity in any direction. |

Thank you for your Prompt and point to point reply..
Now I have defined few set of rules based on your feedback that to be followed.
1. I use only 60K as working capital. 40k will be rested at Bank account itself.
2. Divide working capital into 3 parts so as to have maximum of ONLY 3 open positions at any time.
3. Will trade only in options, position sizing based on qunaity for that option, strike price (considering working capital of 20K per positions)
4. Will follow strict SL and wont chase price if entry is missed…
Lets see how it is going …. |
