2} 15 Min--- loss 34 points and long in hand at 450

Its on traders to decide--which time frame suits them---

i will suggest 30 min-- as may be gains at certain month--can be 20 % lower then 15 min-- but whipsaws in 15 min are higher-- which may at time create panic in trading

Rules are modified seeing last 8 month performance

Filter 13 points-- stop loss 28 points
and hold position till stop loss hit or trade triggers with filter

this applies for Nifty as well bank nifty also

bank nifty filter 35-- and sl 110-- as earlier

so..if you incorporate modified filter values & SL points in your back test excel..do the results change.??.will that be more fav.by how much points. or neutral..?? I know you must have done the backtesting..

Entry into long at 5340 as u said is 38 points abv the actual lvl of entry,so watll be the SL now

Just for people who think what to do in such gap up

As in last 8 month-- there was no use of this new rule-- today gap up was only against setup-- else what i narrated last evening about exit n short is profitable

using 28 point sl-- and 13 point filter will result in net loss only--
only one buy and one stop loss was avoided by this

But if we increase filter by 1 point in last 8 month 150 points additional we have to give because of filter as well -- almost 150 points in stop losses also

so 300 points loss--- and one gap up like today is saved--- which made loss of 80 points--

so you all have to decide what to do

i will stick to earlier rules only

as RK said-- on very important day-- when whole world is shaking--one can avoide position
