Just for people who think what to do in such gap up

As in last 8 month-- there was no use of this new rule-- today gap up was only against setup-- else what i narrated last evening about exit n short is profitable

using 28 point sl-- and 13 point filter will result in net loss only--
only one buy and one stop loss was avoided by this

But if we increase filter by 1 point in last 8 month 150 points additional we have to give because of filter as well -- almost 150 points in stop losses also

so 300 points loss--- and one gap up like today is saved--- which made loss of 80 points--

so you all have to decide what to do

i will stick to earlier rules only

as RK said-- on very important day-- when whole world is shaking--one can avoide position

very true rahul sir.. i would suggest stick to the old rules...
now lets say if ECB buying would not have come then this gap up would have been huge gap down tooo...
so think over it guys..... old rules with new filter looks better ....

Very good strategy rahul............me following ur strategy now....but two points from my side.....

1. Nifty was due for an upward correction.......thats for sure. Whatever goes down has to come up....and vice versa.

2. Your strategy is more suited for trades in the direction of the trend.......

well said Sonila

i will stick to the original version

to get this-- all available EMA-- SMA-- cross overs--

3--7--5--8--13--15--21--25--30--34--55--89--103--121--

what all left--- so what was posted here as setup-- proved itself best --in that TF

Very correctly said sonila.......with proper SLs in place any logical trade setup is gonna be profitable........but sometimes we do need to be flexible to improvise.........And yes gap ups/downs are mostly when a correction is due or the 3rd up/down as per EW is due......
Better be careful

no swing/ positional set up can have any control on gaps. gaps can be in favour or against, so sometimes you gain, sometimes you lose. If you want to avoid gaps, you will have to do daytrading only.

Anyone who can post a setup-- for intraday-- with gains-- on average 250 points plus every month-- can post here-- with back test--

we will welcome it for sure

else we know what set up is this-- and such 3--4 days are well counted in risk---

thanks to all

This EW has become a Fiss--for me--

I have a close friend from South India--- a very good EW expert

Net result loss in last 4 year trading---

he is shouting 5500 from last one month-- we can see what has done in last 1 month

and again see Rohit Shrivastava

So atleast not my cup of tea

still thanks for it
