Hi SID2060,

Was thinking the same too. The strategy is good on the 60 TF, but the points one can book is a bit limited in a 100 to 150 point swing the buy and sell signals eventually come so close together and the wait period is so long. In contrast the 15 TF seems to afford a much better return considering the same range of play. Going further I did check it with the 5 TF the points gained seem to be marginally more than the 15 TF but in the 5 TF one is likely to hit stop losses more frequently. Seems to me the 60 MIN TF and the 15 MIN TF is a workable combination........ in the last week the 13/21 15TF has given a much more stable trade than the 5/8 15 TF..... In hind sight considering the volatility on the 16th of Sept the 13/21 15 MIN TF was more stable than the 5/8 15 MIN TF......would like to hear you opinion.

Dear sv09,

I use ema 5/8 combination only on 60min tf and have'nt tried it on any other tf. Also ì have'nt checkd the 15 min tf. I will backtest and reply u soon. U also study the latest version of my trading strategy for agressive traders. Also find out for 5 min tf, ema 8/13 is more good or ema 13/21. For 60min tf ema 5/8 is the final combination. I will also test the 15min tf and let u knw.

Regards,
S I D

Hi Sid,

Looks like I prefer the 13/21 to the 8/13 in the 5 MIN TF .....but the 5 MIN TF on the whole is too close for comfort and too many narrow trades benefiting the broker only.

The same 13/21 setup on the 15TF for NIFTY seems more consistent and rewarding.........

On the same note the 13/21 15 MIN TF is not all that great for ABAN . ABAN seems to deliver more on the 13/21 30 MIN TF.

Over all in both the scrips the 13/21 seems to score over the 5/8, 8/13 setups in their respective time frames.

Regards,
SV09

If there is a crossover before the end of candle, u should not buy/sell but wait for the candle to end... If at the end of candle a crossover is still there than trade...
