me too confused always with this...this does not give on any day what the gann follower has done...buying what qtny what buy sell side orders where placed etc etc purely mechanical
it works as one of the stalwart in this mentioned and gave trading plan also search icharts .....but since then there is no actual day trading guide who can guide one day with actual trades. |

hi both
when you get levels after 9.20 AM..
Just enter orders on the both buy and sell side.
Today at 9.20 am,
LTP was around 6150..
today i placed buy SL at 6163 and Sell SL @ 6143
When buy got triggered,i just modified sell SL qty to double ..thats all..
trade with motions and not wth emotions |

once after enter, first place SL as per GANN levels..
and placing 50 % at tgt1 ..
if tgt 1 achived..
TSL is cost to cost, placing 25% in 2nd target
if tgt 2 is achived
TSL is in 1nd target and placing 25% 3rd target |

Dear marimuthu13,
My doubt is regarding this that should we put SL order for restricting losses as well as booking profit after the entry point?
just for example:
By order at 6163 executed then our SL sell order for restricting loss is 6143, and SL sell order(for 50 % quantity) for booking profit at 6181.
That means at the same time two sell order are initiated is this correct?

Hi,
i will explain with today live trades..
I placed both SL buy and SL Sell in system. both are 200 qty..4 lots
after buy triggered at 6163..my sell SL qty was doubled to 400 qty..8 lots.. 4 lots for restricting loss and another 4 lots for fresh sell as per Gann..
and also placed 2 lot sell at 1st tgt..1 lot sell at 2nd tgt ..1 lot at 3rd tgt..
as the market moves ..iwas keep changing my order book according to same rule...
VERY IMPORTANT IS MY MARGIN IN TRADING ACCOUNT..I USE 1 LAKH PER LOT..BECAUSE OF MM..
if MM not in place, stay away from trading..you will surely wipe off ur account |

ok fine..for intraday, rs 10000 to be kept as margin..
for carry forward, rs 30000 required |

Yes acording to gann level it is not achieved. But acording to umesh strategy which I follow ( 15 point 1st target , 15 point stoploss ) its achieved.
