Its gapup and Opening White Marubozu..what is next..will it continue uptrend??? or fill the gap..

Important Factors about White Marubozu:
What the White Marubozu says about the future course of the trend depends a lot on the general picture. A White Marubozu can possibly be the first part of a bullish continuation pattern but it may also be interpreted as a bearish reversal candlestick pattern depending on the preceding day's candlesticks.
The White Marubozu is a single candlestick pattern and consequently it has low reliability. It reflects only one day's trading and it may show the continuation of the trend but also may indicate reversal. It needs to be used with other candlesticks for a better and healthier judgment about the status of the trend.

Nifty has a big gap of 200 points plus made on 18 /5/2009 to be filled.all expected this to be filled this year when nifty was hovering around 4700 and see the result in front on screen today,all the same channels with their same experts are bullish.Bottom line is follow the trend and not the experts

Umesh ji,
That day Nifty fut only made 200 points gap up opening but not Nifty spot
Hence it could have ignored

Every Gap will be filled in appropriate time in a way suitable to market condition. See in minifty March series, on 6th Feb unusual marking has been done i.e high 5913.05 low 4837.95. where the market will lead according to this? go with the trend. If goes up go if comes down go. Keep going thats all. But most unfortunate and pathetic point is all of us esactly do opposite when needed?? I am sorry if this hurts anyone. Its my view. We all came to swim and should not bother about big wave and small wave then wolf wave will eat us.

O/H/L/C = 5760 / 5913 / 4837 / 5393
On the same day 4800-PE for SEP-2012 shows 3626 contracts.
Any senior boarder(s) to shed light on this?
