Gold position booked at 109 diff-- as not coming down

Gold spread-- Diff on higher side was 199 and then came to 70 only

after booking-- now i have

Long gold-- n short Gold mini-- at 70 diff--- it went to 95--

on monday will exit it

Today morning Diff of both became Zero--

so i again made 2 lot spread at zero diff--- and within 30 min Diff is again 90 points



Today was a lottery day for Gold

within flash-- diff zero to 90---

position booked

Gold Dec short-- nad Gold mini Nov-- bought--

diff 200 now

can you mention the rates of gold and gold m when the diff is 90 and 200
as of today

Diff is still 194--- in Dec gold and Nov Gold mini

Important is difference-- not the rates --on which trade is done-

I never see those rates--- i care for diff--
what rate i bought or sold--- no importance---

Just watch diff

Current date is 3rd sep 2012 So as per date difference between gold mini & gold is 200 Rs so would you execute the trade today. Or you will do the trade on nov 1st asking because curious to learn.

If you can give a proper example will be of great help.

I have read all the post of yours but failing to understand. Kindly guide me

today at 11 AM

i have bought NOV gold mini-- and shorted Dec gold--- Diff 200--

Will add more if it goes to 230--- then 260--then 290---

lets see---will hold it till diff comes to 120--- atleast

in Oct last it will come to 70 also

Sonila-- every trade dosen't have logic--

and more over ---its just to eat premium between both---

Its all 3 years traded by me-- and i have posted it here

in one lot spread-- i make almost 70 points---

i trade 5 lots at diff rates of differences--

so its 350 points almost-- its almost 4000 points every where --

thats enough for me

hi rahul as u hedge ing ur position selling in dec & buying in nov mini contract. i think so this can be called gold arbitrage as per ur method pls guide i m right or wrong. this trade need atleast 1,50,000 margin so what is actual profit i m nt getting it. pls guide me on this hardik fr mumbai.

you will get almost 100--120 points every month-- if u are fast in trades

thats 8--9 % return

so margin i told u is correct sir & so 30 % to 35% return on p. a annum basis m i correct.
