Dear Rahulsharmaat,
thanks a lot for such a nice strategy.
Right now Nov GoldM and Dec Gold is trading at a difference of 190.
Request you to pls suggest
CAN WE BUY GOLDM AND SELL GOLD.
Also one clarification, At the expiry of GoldM i.e on 5th november, can you pls suggest what is the approx. idea of gap that will be at that time.
Means at goldM expiry what is the gap between that goldM and Gold, the gap that you have seen generally.
Hope you understood my query.

Trade is now
Buy MINI NOV
Short Gold DEc
Diff now 200--- ideally before expirt it should dip down to 120--100--
n then reverse to 150-- at expiry
lets see |

position taken at difference of 200 as suggested by you.

is it recommended to take short position at 180 or wait for 200 and more.

| GoldM expiring on 5th november. My broker advising to close on y/day otherwise compulsory delivery he said. Dear Rahul, can u please advise upto what time we can keep this mini 5th nov contract on expiry. I have not done your trade as huge capital is involved. I am working with 1 goldm & 12 gunea lots. The margin required is less as allowed by mcx. I entered at 25 difference now it is 83. Please post for expiry of goldmini contracts. sethuraman |

is it common like gap going to 250 to 270 near expiry and then again fall.
and can we take new positions for jan goldm and feb gold.

Thanks rahul. My broker not allowing the mini till 5th nov. MCX have given concession for this kind of pair trading with pair legs stipulated with less margin. I entered gunea & mini @ 25 and booked at difference of 180 y/day. can do multiple lots in this pair and margin also 50% of stipulated for the total pair. |
