as is said the heinkin ashi chart is self explanatory..it avoids market noise to good extent and make us believe the we are in right move,thus we catch trend better,you can add with stochastic 14,7,3 for some entry...

Use Wolfe Waves (ww), as and when formed
WW on daily chart gives clear indication of trend reversal

Divergence is also good at catching early reversals
I can remember one thread "NVK Setup" used by fellow ichartians for Intraday on 5min TF
