Paper or dummy trades do not provide very good results.
Actual trades give far different results than rosy picture seen on eod charts or on paper trades.
Paper trade results are many times misguiding also as entry & exit levels are to be assumed as per eod charts while practically they differ due to many factors.

i largely agree with what you wrote.
However, I am posting in this thread based on 30min timeframe, not EOD. I have shared the method also. with that, speculation about real trades/paper trades is up to the reader. If excessive doubt is there inspite of gettting entry and exit in advance, i have nothing more to conttribute to imaginary discussion.

There are some ways to find if a scrip is trending or not. The indicator used is called Average Directional Index. There are 3 lines in the indicator and its a lower indicator. ADX, +DI, -DI. ADX tells us if the scrip is trending or not. Market is rangebound if,
ADX is below 20 or 18. The number depends on the user, but this is standard.
ADX is below both +DI and -DI.
+DI tells how well positive trend is trending.
-DI tells how well negative trend is trending.

You can use this indicator to do Buy-Sell and Short-Cover trades.
If +DI is greater than -DI, the buy
Once the -DI crossover +DI, Close the buy and enter a short position.
