hello fellow traders
i looking to learn a art of selecting a stocks for next trading session.if any of my friend who trade in stocks.can share his views here . how he select stocks. what parameters he uses volume,support, resistance, gainer, loser. it will be really appreciated.

i have uploaded excel sheet of of nifty for last few days can u please check that. correct me me if m wrong in formula. bcoz this is first time m using excell.

Hi,
I dont know abt the formula as I have not used it to calculate the nr7 but the best way to chk it is chkk on chart and see visually whether its and nr7 day or not.

Hi suppress
NR7 is non-directional i.e. you can expect great movement after NR7 days but it does not indicate direction of movement.
I would suggest you
1. Try putting data in chronological order from top to bottom
2. Start calculating NR7 only after first 7 period
3. Also try to visualize the candle formation as suggested by Sherbaaz. You can also try this by calculating difference of close and open. My point is expectation of great movement is higher when there is Doji than in case of Marubazu
