Hi Team,

IFCI's movement has been drawing my interest for the past one and half years. On Jan 2, 2007, IFCI opened at around 13 levels. On Dec 17, 2007, it touched a high of 121. Currently, IFCI is at 37. If there is someone who has went long with IFCI between 10-20 levels, held on to it during 2007, and closed it at 100-120 levels, he must be a great trader. If he also went short with IFCI at 100 levels, and closed the short-position at 30 levels, hats-off to his analysis.

Although, I haven't traded in IFCI, I have been watching it since Jan 2007. Yesterday, I did a bit of analysis on the long-term chart of IFCI. I noticed that 22-25 levels is a good retracement level. IFCI hit 29 levels on July 2, 2008.

Currently, for a short-term (based on my analysis of IFCI short-term chart), IFCI looks to be at important levels. Movement above 39-40 could give upsides; Movement below 37-36 could give downsides. I would like to see what shape IFCI takes in the future.

Disclaimer: Trading in stock market involves risk. I do not hold any positions in IFCI. The information in this message is not to be considered as a recommendation. Please do your own analysis to determine the risk involved.

Regards,
Vivek

Dear Vivek,

Thanks for the infor about IFCI you posted. Your views are always helpful for we traders and I request you to continue this. One thing though - for stocks there is a separate place "STOCKS" where it will be better to put such posts.

Thanks & keep the good work going.

Harish
