|
|
Please read this information carefully before you use intraday charts for trading:
NOTE: These are HISTORICAL INTRADAY CHARTS. We will be releasing auto-updating intraday charts (for use during trading hours) in the next few days.
1. The data for intraday charting is collected during market hours from NSE's website.
2. Data is collected for stocks in NIFTY & JUNIOR indicies only.
3. Data is collected every 1 minute but since time taken to accquire this data depends on various factors like network connectivity, general path through the internet etc the actual time difference between two successive prices can be greater than 1 min.
4. The intraday charts shown are 5-Min Candlestick/OHLC charts (line charts also can be charted). We compute 5-min bars using the data downloaded at 1-min intervals so these 5-min bars will not correspond to actual 5-min snapshot data that is available from NSE.
5. If these intraday charts become popular with the users and we receive positive feedback we will consider subscribing to NSE 5-min delayed snapshot data.
DISCLAIMER: We would like to request all users to use these intraday charts only as an indication of prices. Actual prices at that point may vary so do not use these charts for realtime trading.
Your comments/suggestions are welcome so we can improve these charts. These are still under testing so we will continue to improve these charts in the next few days/weeks.

Hi. I am happy to see u have started the Intraday charts. Is it possible to have selection of 5/10/15/30 or 60 min charts in future for 1 to 20 days period. There can be delay in the data, which is acceptable. regards

You can now chart 5/10/15/30/60 min intraday charts. We just added this functionality. Also added "2 Days" duration option which we felt was needed.

We need to start collecting NIFTY data, we don't do it at the moment. We will do that in the near future and post a message about it.

Good points. We will look into both these points. The 1st point should be resolvable easily. About printer friendly charts we will add it to our list of tasks and get it done in the near future.

Hi,
I see a new tool tip on the charts beta -"ACC CHART/NIFTY CHART' etc based on my selection.
This tool tip is infact a indrance to display of data points in wich we are more interested. Since we have selected the index/equity there is no need to shhow the same.
