the best results will be achieved if you combine shrikantji's icharts levels with gann's targets

Good morning Madam,
I am also trading using same Gann calculator along with some other combo of my own price levels.
The question of yours pertain to "position sizing". Its is very important for a trade to have right position size, along with proper money management.
I would suggest you to trade in minimum 3 lots if its a big size in regular nifty then trade in mini nifty with 3 lot. As single lot trading put you in a pressure of break even, profit and riding the trend with single lot.
With 3 lots you can sq off first lot at first tgt and second at second tgt and trail the 3rd as much as u can with TSL.
This is a broad idea. Position sizing in itself is a very big subject. But if you do some maths you will be able to trade with calmness.
BTW i also exited the trade the T3.
Regards.

Dear Member,
Yes you are looking at the right place. Click Calculator on the left hand side menu and then select Gann Option. It will ask the High and Low and it will compute the results.
We will soon prepare some instruction manual on how to use it effectively.
Regards
Kamal

Dear Kamal,
Could you please update the instructions for the Gann calculator? Currently if we select the Gann calculator option it shows the 'Click here to view instructions on how to use the Fibonacci calculator' link.
Am I looking at the right place ( Calculators - on the left panel of iCharts)? if not could you direct me to the correct location.
Thank you,

Another great day in the name of GANN. I have not traded it but checked the levels in the evening.
I dont know why it works, but the best part - it is completely OBJECTIVE not emotions no feelings and give all the three things in advance STOP LOSS, ENTRY, TGTS.

Insert the LTP of any financial instrument after 15 min of mkt opening. 9:30 and 10:15 for stock n commodities mkt respectively.

Spiritual trader sir,
can you explain the position sizing with an eg? The sl on an average is 18 points and first target is 15 points. On trending days Gann gives good 35-50 points. But on flat days buy gets triggered then buy sl gets hit, next sell first target hits and again sell sl gets hit, sometimes sell T1 is achieved else low is short of T1 and again starts moving up. End of the day, Gann leaves one with loss in brokerage or jus at breakeven point. How to trade such days?Pls enlighten us.
Thanks and regards,
Venkat

Hi,
I have tested for some time this calculator on stocks and comm but it has not given good results. You can try and test it as my testing period was very limited.

For Nifty futures we must enter 9:30.
But the commodity market opens later.
So At what time should we enter the commodity Value ?
